Lawrenceville, Ga. 30043 August 24, 2015 Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center 75 Langley Drive Lawrenceville, Ga 30046 Reference: Case Number BRD2015-00003 Dear Commissioners: My wife and I own property adjacent to our neighbor Mordcai Lee whose address is 1601 Old Fountain Rd., Lawrenceville Ga. Our property directly borders the area where the 20 foot easement is encroached by a few feet. There is approximately 200 feet of heavy woods between us and this area so the 9 foot encroachment into the buffer is really not a problem for us. We, therefore, ask that you permit the buffer to be reduced as requested by Mr. Lee. We have lived in our home for 28 years and seen an improvement in our adjoining properties from the previous owner who had a rough looking shed with piles of poorly stacked wood. The Lee family are kind and good neighbors. We are very happy to have them next to us and know that we can count on them if we need help.

Our position has not changed. We would agree to a buffer reduction from 20 feet to 11feet along the property line abutting our property at 1200 Silverwood Court where there is no encroachment onto our property. We feel, in the interests of being good neighbors, that Mr. Lee should be granted the relief that this proposal would provide. Any other reduction of existing buffer around the rest of the property of 1601 Old Fountain Road is unnecessary and has no bearing on the existing violation.
