The Blue House For sale freehold The Blue House is a fabulous and spacious family home designed in a Cape Cod style situated on the edge of the popular village of Tregurrian. The house consists of extensive eating, relaxing and entertaining space, seven bedrooms (of which three are en suite) and a total of five bathrooms. Stairs from the reception hallway lead up to the first floor landing off which are a total of four bedrooms (of which two are en suite) and a family bathroom. Beyond the games room is a second set of stairs that lead up to a separate part of the first floor where there are two bedrooms, of which one has an en suite bathroom. Outside, there is a lovely flat grass area in front of the house and below the decking. The lawn extends down one side of the house. There is ample parking for at least six cars in front of the house.

North Cornish Coast Shopping: Mawgan Porth s shops (2 miles) are mainly functional beachside shops; newsagent, cafe, Cornish Fresh supermarket & delicatessen and a dedicated surf shop. In addition to these are local farm shops that sell all things Cornish. More extensive shopping and amenities are available in Newquay (5 miles), Padstow (11 miles) and Wadebridge (14 miles). Surfing, Sailing and Watersports: Within 5 miles of the property are some of Europe s best surfing beaches at Fistral, Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth Bay. For sailing and water-skiing Padstow (11 miles) and Rock (20 miles) are protected and sheltered by the Camel Estuary. The water here is unusually calm and clear, making it perfect for swimming and other water sports. Restaurants: Three of England s other top restaurants are close by with Jamie Oliver s Fifteen restaurant at Watergate Bay (0.5 miles and well within walking distance), Rick Stein s seafood restaurant in Padstow (11 miles) and in Rock (20 miles) there is the ** Michelin Restaurant Nathan Outlaw at the St Enodoc Hotel. The Scarlet Hotel in Mawgan Porth (2 miles), Cornwall s luxury eco-hotel, also comes highly regarded. There are a number of pubs and restaurants within a short distance; namely Travellers, Merrymoor and Bedruthan. Travel by Car: The A30 dual carriageway, only about 9 miles away, provides access to the national motorway network at Exeter. Travel by Train: There are good Intercity rail services from Bodmin Parkway (about 24 miles away) which links directly to London Paddington (3 hours 41 minutes). Travel by Air: Newquay Airport is a 5 minutes drive away and offers a number of national and international flights via London Gatwick (under 1 hour flight away). Directions (TR8 4AE) Take the A39 exit off the A30 at Indian Queens/Newquay. Take 3rd exit off island to next island. Take 3rd exit A39 Wadebridge to next island. Take 1st exit A3059 Newquay/Airport. Just past Gulf petrol station on right turn right posted Airport. Go through woods and past airport (on left) to T-junction. At the T junction and turn left onto the B3276 to Tregurrian, Porth and Newquay. On entering the village of Tregurrian the property will be found on the left before the left hand bend.
