London Hilton on Park Lane: Accessibility Pack Thank you for considering the London Hilton Park Lane. We are pleased to give you some information about our hotel that you may find useful when planning your visit to our hotel. Arriving at the hotel We have two entrances. The main entrance is on Park Lane and the back entrance is off Hertford Street. There is a single step from the road onto the pavement at the front entrance, but there is a lowered part of the curb just to the right of the front entrance. The back entrance has no steps into the back There is a lift to help wheelchair users up the stairs from the back lobby to the main This requires a key to operate. Please arrange with the hotel before arrival if this is required or call reception for assistance on arrival. The main entrance has an automatic revolving door in the centre, and a door either side. These doors can easily be opened by pressing a button located next to each one. We have 24-hour concierge service to help where needed. The back lobby has a revolving door and two side-swing doors. We close these doors after 10pm. We can arrange to have them opened outside these hours. Car Parking There is space for a car to drop off passengers at the main entrance of the hotel. However, as the road has a double yellow line, waiting time is restricted. Use the back lobby where you have more time to get out of your vehicle. There are five pay- and -display parking spaces available on Park Lane, opposite the main entrance. We have an underground car park, which you can get to from the back driveway. Parking is split over two levels and the entrance is up a steep winding slope.

There are two disabled parking spaces. These are on level 2B which is the first entrance coming down the ramp on the left-hand side. Keep to the left of the pillar and you will see the disabled parking bays in front of you marked section D. The lifts to the back lobby entrance are on the right side through a set of glass doors. The glass door is 80cm wide. The width of lift measures 134cm x 122cm. On the left-hand side of the payment machine, there is a phone. Dial 0 to reach an operator. We can help with luggage, equipment or any other queries. Our team of porters and concierge are on duty 24 hours a day. As you come out of the lifts from the car park, turn left and go along the pathway to the back lobby entrance doors. Welcome and reception When entering the hotel from the main entrance, you will find two steps inside the door, down into the reception area. There is also a ramp with railings on both sides in front of the left-hand swing door. The concierge desk is on the left-hand side at the end of the ramp in the main lobby and the main reception desk is to your right between four pillars, next to the POP bar. The induction loop is towards the end of the main reception desk. If you arrive by the back lobby, there are four steps up to the main reception either side of the group reception desk. On the right-hand set of steps you will find a lift to take you up to the main This requires a key to operate. Please arrange with the hotel before arrival if this is required or call reception for assistance on arrival. There is a seating area in the centre of the lobby, which is carpeted. And the rest of the lobby area is marble flooring. There are four guest lifts behind the seating area. We have trained our employees to use these evacuation chairs. They will help you down the stairs and outside. Do not block the door with anything, including towels, as this will prevent the fire brigade from entering your room.

Do not open any windows as this can increase the air circulating and increase, smoke and flames.
