PROPERTY LOCATION Amyra Game Reserve is a 3 054 Ha commercial game reserve situated ± 50 km from Vryheid en-route to Louwsburg, KZN. The property lies approximately 340km north east of Pietermaritzburg and approximately 420km from Johannesburg. Some amenities and facilities such as banks and shops are located in nearby Vryheid. Vryheid is a coal mining and cattle ranching town in northern KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The famous Umfolozi/Hluhluwe Game Reserve and Shakaland are located within a short driving distance. Hot springs can be enjoyed just outside Vryheid towards Paul Pietersburg, and the KwaZulu-Natal Battlefields are also easily accessible. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Primary use Amyra Game Lodge is divided into two portions a ±2,820 Ha High fenced game area with no internal fences and a ±0.230 Ha Unfenced area, the two portions are divided by the D230 District Road. The high fenced game area is used for plains game breading and sport hunting by local and international clients, hunting takes place year-round. The reserve consists of 70% grassland and 30% bushveld, due to the very diverse vegetation on the reserve a huge variety of plains game can be kept on the property. The reserve currently houses ± 18 huntable species. The reserve also houses a huge variety of birdlife and other mammal species, due to the constant flow of the Mkuze and Mthazi rivers through the reserve, small streams and springs. On the reserve there is a workshop, skinning area, two guard huts, one viewing deck and rondavel as well as a camp site with two bathrooms. The area has about 72km of roads for game viewing and hunting. Amyra game lodge situated inside the reserve on the banks of the Mkuze River, has five tented safari en-suite chalets housing up to 10 clients. The main lodge has a kitchen, dining area, bar, braai area, sundeck and swimming pool. The lodge lighting is solar powered, water heating and refrigeration is gas operated. Water supply to the lodge is from the Mkuze River. NB: The electric fence is not in working order. Vacant occupation by the Seller or In2assets is not given or guaranteed. The properties are not subject to any Land Claims. A list of the estimated game count on the properties as well as the movables list can be found below on pages 12 & 13.
