Community Information and Amenities When are the nearest fitness classes held and where? Anytime Fitness- Jester Center, Purre Bar- Arboretum Gables Grandview What are the hours of the amenities? Clubhouse- open during office hours Pool- 10am-10pm Fitness Center & Business Center- 24/7 access How do I reserve the club room? Call, email, or visit the office. Let us know the date and if available, we ll have you fill out the clubhouse rental agreement. It is a $100 fee and due at the time of reservation. Where do I dispose of my trash? We have valet trash which comes every night at 8 pm. There are also two trash disposal locations on our property. One is towards the back, near building 37 and the other is at the front, by building 8. Where are the recycling centers? They re located at the same trash disposal locations What do I do with my move in boxes? Please flatten them and take them to the trash disposal locations. There is a recycling bin for your use. How does my key fob work? Swipe it next to the black bar at the door to the clubhouse, pool, business center, fitness center, and mail center. Push the grey button to open the gate. Where are the mail boxes located? As you first come in, it s the first building on your left. As you leave, it s the last building on your right. Do you have resident activities or events? Yes! We have a resident appreciation event once a month. Can I have a party at the pool? No
Where is the best place for me to park? You may park in any open, unmarked spot. The garages and carports are paid reserved parking. Conveniences How do I pay rent online? On our resident portal. Go to www.gables.com/grandview, click the Residents tab at the top right and follow steps to log in. How do I use Gables Connect? Changing your utilities to your new address can be time consuming and a challenge, so visit www.gablesconnect.com or call 1-866-914-0631 to transfer or set up your utilities with ease. Where can I access WI-FI in the building? There is free Wi-Fi in our clubhouse, business and fitness centers as well as our pool area. Where is the rent drop box? Before you enter the office, it is located to the left of our front door. Do you have a courtesy officer onsite and how do I get a hold of them? No. You may call our main # 512-345-5005 follow the prompts to contact them. Guests Where can my guests park? There is visitor parking throughout our property. The visitor spots are clearly labeled as visitor. You may also visit our office to obtain a visitor parking tag, which allows the visitor to park in any open, unreserved parking spot. If you have a carport or garage, your guest may also park in your spot. Where do my movers park? They may park close to your building and not block other vehicles.
Where does the delivery person come in or do I have to meet them? If you re expecting a package, it is normally delivered to the office. We will scan it in and send you an email that you have a package waiting for you. FedEx, UPS, and Amazon may deliver to your door. How many guests can I have with me at the amenities? 2 How do I let friends in the gate? When you pick up your keys, you will be given a gate access code. When your guests visit, this code allows them to contact you at the gate box. They will enter the code and the gate box will call your phone. When you answer, you may speak with your guest briefly. Press 9 to open the gate for your guest. Maintenance How do I submit service requests? You may submit your request on the Resident portal, call, email, or stop by the office. What do I do if I have a Maintenance emergency after hours? You will call the main office number 512-345-5005. Listen to the prompts and select the option to contact our on-call Maintenance tech. Leave a voicemail with your name, apartment #, the issue, and your contact phone #. What is considered a maintenance emergency? Emergency maintenance problems that will be dispatched to the on-call service technician include: 1. No electricity throughout the apartment 2. No water. 3. No air conditioning on a day of extreme heat (80+ degrees). 4. Water entering the apartment. 5. Possibility of fire. 6. Impeded plumbing in an apartment with only one bathroom. 7. No heat. 8. Non-functioning or malfunctioning smoke detector. 9. Gas leak (also call the gas company). 10. Running water that cannot be shut off. 11. Malfunctioning door or window locks.
