Chez Madame Dubose, 8, Rue Henri M artin, Paris. November 12th 1921. My Lord, Permit me to bring to your notice the following case. Norma Alexandrovna Tchersky, (Madame) v/ith one child resides at Borganskaia No.6 Logement No.8 Tiflis, South Russia. She is starving and wants to Join her husband, for whom I have found a chauffer's place in Paris. He, being an officer of Be$y%4**eR <1><lvviM ajvv and Wrangels ' Army cannot communicate with her without danger. Ts there nny means of getting Fer, f i r s t to C o n s e n t inople, and then to Paris via Marseilles? The expenses of the journey will be honourably refunded to British Red Cross at Constantinople, or money could be lodged with B.R.C. for this purpose. The father is in a state of anguish about his wife and child. He was a refugee in Tunis. I shall be thankful of a reply giving me any suggestions. The mans' address is André Tchersky, 48, Avenue Henri Martin, Paris, but he does not understand English. He has had a letter from his wife through England written to Me, As wives of officers in the White army are often murdered, for no reason except that the husband fought against the Red Army. The Lord Weardale. Believe me, Faithfully Yours, (SIGNED)(MIS») BESSIE JONES (Nurse French Red cross)
