Over the past decade, Mazria s seminal research into Building Sector energy use and carbon emissions has reshaped our understanding of climate change. He is the founder of Architecture 2030, a non partisan, non profit research organization developing planning, policy, and design solutions for transitioning to lowcarbon/zero carbon, sustainable built environments worldwide. The initiative has since been adopted by the nation s leading professional organizations and architecture firms, influencing the design of billions of square feet of building space worldwide.
