When asked, Mr. Lawson states that there are no units affected by bed bugs. Oakbrook Tower, a public housing property, is a high-rise building consisting of 5 floors with an elevator. The first floor (Ground) is all common areas consisting of an office, community room, lobby, bathrooms, laundry room, hallway, storage, mechanical room, and trash collection area. Each of the remaining floors has a trash collection area, hallway, and utility closet. The remaining 4 floors have 5 units each. On the 2 nd floor the units are 1 bedroom and are numbered 201 thru 205, the 3 rd floor units are 2 bedrooms and are numbered 301 thru 305, and the 4 th and 5 th floors are all 1-bedroom units and are numbered 401 thru 405 and 501 thru 505 respectively. This property is on one site and during your verification of the property information with Mr. Lawson he states that units 202, 205, 303, 402, 403, 504 are vacant. In addition to the high-rise building on this property you observe an additional one story structure. After further inspection and conversation with property representative you find out the building was just completed in May 2014 and contains no residential units. You decide that it meets REAC s definition of a building and must be added to the property profile.
