There were a total of 80 homes that sold for a million dollars and above during the month which surpassed the previous July high established last year. Of those sales, 75 were single family homes and 5 were condominiums. The all-time sales record is 104 set in June 2014. A notable sale was a unit at the Princeton Hall in Eau Claire which sold for $4,400,000, a new Calgary MLS condo record and the most expensive sale of the month. The previous condo sales record was set back in 2011 when a Princeton Grand unit sold for $4,100,000. West Springs was the most active community in July with 8 transactions, followed by Springbank Hill with seven.
