Current Potential Sites for UVM Affiliate Housing Assessing UVM-owned and non-mission critical sites in accordance with the Campus Master Plan UVM s contribution would be the land in order to make affordable for UVM affiliates. Housing would be developed by a private developer under a ground lease (similar to Centennial Court) Need to be environmentally sustainable and address transportation to campus. Two sites under consideration in South Burlington and Essex. Both require zoning changes. 35
South Burlington Site 36
Essex Site 37
Next Steps Continue feasibility assessment of sites in South Burlington and Essex Utilize data from survey to design rental housing project that would be attractive and marketable to UVM faculty/staff Share survey data with UVM administration and continue assessment of additional housing options for faculty/staff 38
