Implementation Status and Key Decisions The Bank Board approved the Rio Bogotá investment loan on December 14, 2010. The Loan signing took place on July 15, 2011 with the World Bank declaring the loan legally effective on Sept. 22, 2011. Prequalification for the Salitre wastewater treatment plant contract was completed in April 2014, the bidding process initiated in December 2014, with contract award anticipated by August 2015. The river works component is proceeding rapidly. Fiftytwo of the 68 kms of river works are under contract, and have been completed. The bidding documents for the remaining 13 km are under preparation. The Rio Bogota Master Plan consulting contract has been signed and is currently under implementation.
