Key Insights Across North & East cities of the country, new launches during March witnessed a decline of ~79% over the previous month and ~80% over previous year. While these launches were witnessed across Noida and Kolkata, Gurgaon did not see any new launches in the month Subdued demand, stagnant prices and pressure from unsold inventory across the cities, affected the liquidity scenario and hence resulted in decline in new launches Prices of residential properties in Kolkata increased marginally across all localities, ranging between 1% to 14% annually Prices in Gurgaon and Noida continued to fall coupled with decline in sales. In some localities, prices fell by 1-4% annually during March 2016 News & Deals. Real estate firms DLF, Jindal Realty, M3M, Vatika, IREO, Supertech, Embassy Industrial Parks and Indiabulls have committed to invest a total of Rs.1,23,700 Crore in Haryana Supertech announced an investment of Rs.5,706 Crore over 7 years to develop affordable housing and township projects in Haryana with potential employment generation for 5,000 people Embassy Industrial Parks, a joint venture between Embassy Group and Warburg Pincus, signed a 1,910 Crore MoU with Govt. of Haryana for development of three industrial parks around Gurgaon which would generate 4,000 jobs Infosys received the Government nod for setting up a sector specific SEZ for IT/ITeS in Mohali over an area of ~50 acres Renowned international developer Hines and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, along with private equity fund IREO, have backed Gurgaon-based developer Conscient Infrastructure to jointly develop a 10-acre residential project in Gurgaon Three IT parks in Kolkata, spanning over an area of 5.5 Lac sq.ft., with a capacity to incorporate 12-25 companies in each, are likely to be operational very soon As per the revised building bye-laws for Delhi, an integrated online single window approval process will allow builders to get approvals within 30 days Page 01
