Lundgaard & Tranberg have interpreted the special characteristics of the classic warehouse buildings and Pier47 is a natural continuation of this style. With carefully chosen building materials inside and out, and quality down to the smallest detail, the finish is exclusive no matter where in the building you are and no matter where you look. When you enter Pier47 through the main door, you will find yourself in a spectacular open space. You will get a perspective on the entire interior design of the building, plus a view of the harbour at the other end. The atrium is the heart of the building, and in addition to a reception and a café, a number of informal meeting places will be set up open to use by employees and guests. Carefully chosen materials Polished dark concrete made from black diabas stones and red granite floors in the entryway: Pier47 is no ordinary office building. Its construction materials have been carefully chosen. On the higher stories, office floors are made of oiled oak parquet. The acoustically designed walls are created with a perforated black stained veneer, offering an exclusive finish. There are no standard white ceilings at Pier47: our ceilings are constructed from ash wood veneers, with a soft and natural but still streamlined look. Our ceilings are also acoustically designed for a pleasant working environment. The building boasts a fibre solution, which allows for a scalable 100/100 Mbps fibre Internet connection. Gold-certified sustainable building Pier47 is gold-certified according to the new standard for sustainable building in Denmark DGNB building certification. Pier47 is based on an innovative energy and indoor climate concept, in which an optimal working environment is combined with competitive operating expenses. Pier47 s construction and building envelope eliminate mechanical sunlight protection. The building s thermoactive concrete slabs provide consistent and even heating and cooling. And the use of groundwater for cooling, along with hybrid ventilation, secures high-energy efficiency. In Pier47, you will be able to achieve savings of approx. 70 per cent on the estimated heat consumption. Similarly, you can reduce water consumption by half, and the electricity consump tion is four to five times lower compared with traditional cooling. Overall, you will achieve CO 2 savings of 75-80 per cent in Pier47! 9

How to get to Pier47 Train Pier47 is located within walking distance of Østerport Station the nearest transport hub where you will find connections to S-trains, regional trains and buses. Bus Bus 26 stops only a few minutes walk from Pier 47. The bus ride to Østerport Station takes two minutes. Metro The Østerport Metro station opens in 2019. Car The motorway is easily reached via the new expressway Nordhavnsvej opening late 2017. Copenhagen city centre is just 5-10 minutes away by car or bicycle.
