City of Minnetonka Resolution No. 201-088 RESOLUTION REQUESTING CONCURRENT DETACHMENT FROM HOPKINS AND ANNEXATION TO MINNETONKA OF CERTAIN LANDS PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES SECTION 1.01 Be it resolve by the City Council of the City of Minnetonka, Minnesota as follows: Section 1. Backgroun. 1.01. The City of Minnetonka is the fee owner of certain real property, legally escribe on the attache Exhibit A (the "Annexation Property"), which is locate in the City of Hopkins. 1.02. The Annexation Property is locate immeiately ajacent to other real property owne by the City of Minnetonka that is improve with the city's public works facility (the "Public Works Property"), which is locate in the City of Minnetonka. 1.03. The City of Minnetonka historically has owne, occupie an use the Annexation Property an Public Works Facility as a single parcel of lan. 1.0. The City of Minnetonka an the City of Hopkins esire to moify their respective municipal bounaries by etaching the Annexation Property from the City of Hopkins an attaching the Annexation Property to the City of Minnetonka. Section 2. Council Action. 2.01. The City of Minnetonka requests that the Office of Aministrative Hearings - Municipal Bounary Ajustment Unit concurrently etach the Annexation Property from the City of Hopkins an annex the same to the City of Minnetonka at the earliest possible ate. 2.02. The City Clerk is irecte to submit this Resolution to the Office of Aministrative Hearings - Municipal Bounary Ajustments for the purposes set forth herein. 2.03. The City of Minnetonka agrees that, within 30 ays of receipt of both this Resolution an of a similar resolution aopte by the City of Hopkins city council, the Office of Aministrative Hearings - Municipal Bounary Ajustments may review an comment but shall orer the concurrent etachment an annexation consistent with the terms of this Resolution.
