The subject property has a land area of approximately 46.46 hectares from which a 0.70 hectare parcel is to be created by consent to land severance AH-01/2016. The severed parcel to result from severance consent application A/H-32/2016 is vacant land but will have single detached dwelling and garage erected thereon in the future. The proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment would change the Zone category from Rural (RU) Zone to Rural Residential (RR) Zone. Deputy Mayor Latchford: Deputy Mayor Latchford noted that she has booked the band "Garage Dogs" for the Christmas Dinner/Dance on December 3rd, 2016. Deputy Mayor Latchford requested further clarification with respect to the surplus monies, a resolution directing that specific items be paid and if not, who provided the authority to do so without all of Council knowing. For the City of Toronto, he led the business case assessment for the rehabilitation of the Gardiner Expressway, which was a key part of their New Building Canada Fund submission. He also led a landmark financial and economic assessment of a major transmission project in Northern Ontario and is currently engaged by the City of Kingston to conduct a business case assessment for a new bridge, which is part of a broader submission to PPP Canada. Susie Henderson Director Rhett s experience has focused on managing commercial arrangements for the construction of new infrastructure including the procurement of engineering and construction services. He has previously held senior positions with a market leading railway company during which time he negotiated new rail infrastructure and revenue contracts with major customers valued at over $200M and currently has active technical and commercial involvement in large rail and port infrastructure projects valued at over $1Bn. Janet Rieksts-Alderman Senior Vice President Exclusive collaboration with the Funding Portal The Funding Portal works in collaboration with Collins Barrow and their clients to prepare winning funding applications and submissions into government funding programs such as the New Building Canada Fund. Susie Henderson is the Director of Collins Barrow Projects & Economics. Susie is considered a key player within the global infrastructure market, respected for her intricate knowledge of the resource industry, extensive contract negotiation skills, regulatory experience and sharp business acumen. Susie has delivered a range of innovative multimillion dollar rail and port capacity contracts and leverages her extensive industry network of mining companies, port and rail service providers and government representatives to identify mutually beneficial deals for her clients. It has nearly exceeded its useful life and is need of rehabilitation. Alex led a cost-benefit analysis of accelerating rehabilitation of the Gardiner, which indicated that doing so would generate socioeconomic benefits in excess of costs. Accordingly, it has embarked on major expansion plans to accommodate this growth. Alex led a study to assess the economic impact of UOIT as it stands and going forward assuming they receive enough funding to enable this expansion. Economic impact results were disaggregated to identify the economic impact UOIT has on the individual municipalities that comprise Durham Region.
