Recent additions have been drawn from our rich collection of pattern books and builder s guides. One such item, Palliser s American Cottage Homes (1878), was recently highlighted as the Digitized book of the week by the Library s Digital Content Creation unit. It may be seen at: http://www.archive.org/ details/pallisersamerica00pall. Other Palliser publications have also been digitized, including Palliser s Model Homes: showing a variety of designs for modern dwellings (Palliser, 1878) and Palliser s court houses, village, town and city halls (Palliser, 1889). Other recently digitized titles include, The Cottage Builder s Manual (Worcester, MA: Z. Baker, 1856), Farmer s and Mechanics Practical Architect; and guide in rural economy (Boston and Cleveland: Jewett, 1858), and Bicknell s Village Builder (New York, 1872).
