GBA 2012 of Completed Building (New Building Hong Kong) Siu Sai Wan Complex Green Building Award 2012 Award presentation ceremony of Green Building Award 2012 (GBA 2012) took place on June 11, 2012 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, with Mrs Carrie of Completed Building (Existing Building Hong Kong) Caritas Jockey Club Institute of Community Education - Tsuen Wan and Caritas Jockey Club Tsuen Wan Clinic (Medical & Dental) Lam, Secretary for Development of the Development Bureau as the Guest of Honour. Siu Sai Wan Complex has won the under the Newly Completed Building in Hong Kong category. GBA 2012 has received a total of 84 nominations from 7 major cities in Asia Pacific region, including Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, and other Asia Pacific countries involving Australia, India, Indonesia, Japan and Singapore. This represents a 50% increase in the overall nomination rate from 2010. Nominations received for GBA 2012 covered a wide range of projects and all conveyed strong sustainability initiatives.
