INTRODUCTION AND METHODOLOGY La Salle students are trained in embracing the responsibility of creating architecture that is properly planned and constructed. Professionals that are trained in a balanced manner, who love their craft and are capable of responding to the current needs, using the most advanced knowledge and technology. METHODOLOGY La Salle has developed a methodology that is student-oriented, one that encourages the interrelation between subjects and that is aimed at the workplace. The teaching structure is unique in the State and allows for studying the transversal subject Development Workshop. In this subject, we carry out Executive s in conjunction with teachers from all the different areas. The Workshop consists of developing the last exercise created the previous year throughout the course and at a professional level, and then having this become the Final Graduation. The students of the Degree in Architecture Studies and the Degree in Technical Architecture and Construction study for the first course together and at an equal level, both for theoretical and practical subjects; much like they will come to do once they are working in their respective professions. Additionally, itinerants, publications and trips are organized in order to awaken new interests and enrich the learnings of the students.

ACTIVITIES TO TAKE PLACE DURING THE COURSE NEW TECHNOLOGIES The architects of today should be familiar with expert knowledge, analysis, information and management systems, as well as the technological tools for architectural design and calculations. INTERNATIONAL INVESTIGATION AND TRAINING We facilitate the possibility of carrying out internships by means of Erasmus programs or Bilateral Agreements in universities throughout the world. We have workshops in place at the University of Southern California (USA), which ranks among the best 45 universities in the world, in addition to the University of Nanjing (China). The students may choose between studying the degree in English, Spanish or bilingually. IAR, Integrated Architectural Research is an officially acknowledged investigation group in which Bachelor s Degree, Master s Degree and Doctorate students collaborate. It is comprised of: ARC, Architecture, Representation, Computing, a multidisciplinary group in charge of design, development and application of information technology and communication (ICT) in the field of architecture. Since its foundation in 1999, it has partaken of a number of projects related with building, the teaching of architecture and spaces for information. University of Southern California University of Nanjing The objective of IAM, Mediterranean Architecture Investigations, which was founded in 2008, is to investigate the divulging of architecture in the Mediterranean area where territoriality and building is concerned, through a transversal view of architectural projects. Both groups carry out investigation projects of which you may partake at a national and European level. The La Salle School of Architecture promotes international exchange programs between schools. These programs are introduced in the syllabus, guaranteeing a continuity in the studies. The result of this evolution is that at the end of the Degree, you will be qualified for working in any project, anywhere in the world. These types of program, of which you may partake, have been carried out in these last few years in conjunction with universities such as the University of Southern California (EEUU), Carnegie Mellon University (EEUU), Southeast University of Nanjing (China) and the National University of Singapore.

A good architect wants to design buildings that are built properly. The La Salle teaching methodology is closely linked to the concept of architecture as a profession.
