ORDER OF PROCEEDINGS 2.00 p.m. School of Australian Environmental Studies School of Modern Asian Studies 5.00 p.m. School of Humanities School of Science The Procession of graduands will enter the Undercroft, followed by the Procession of staff of the University. The Assembly will stand for the Procession of the Dais Party. The Chancellor will declare open a special meeting of the Griffith University Council, and will call on the Chairman of the Academic Committee to certify that the graduands whose names appear herein have completed the conditions prescribed for admission to their degrees. The Chancellor will call upon the Chairman of the School of Australian Environmental Studies to present the first graduand for admission to a Griffith University bachelor's degree (2.00 p.m. conferring only). The Chairmen of the Schools will present to the Chancellor graduands for admission to bachelor's degrees. The Chairman of the School of Australian Environmental Studies will present candidates for admission to the degree of Master of Science (2.00 p.m. conferring only). The Chairman of the Academic Committee will present a candidate for admission to the degree of Doctor of Science (5.00 p.m. conferring only). The Chancellor will declare the special meeting of the Council closed. An Occasional Address will be delivered by the Chancellor, Sir Theodor Bray. The Dais Party will retire, the Assembly standing. Refreshments will be served infi ont of the Humanities lecture theatres.
