He was a member of Marion F&AM Lodge 926 and had received his 50-year pin in 1986. He was a member of the first Presbyterian Church of Waterloo. Friends called at the Bennett Funeral Home in Waterloo. Funeral serves were held at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon, the Rev. Jonathan T. Carlisle officiating.
