Lisman, Lisman, Webster & Leckerling, P.C., Burlington, Vermont Carl represents, among others, resort developers, owners, and operators; resort homeowners associations; and construction and permanent lenders. For three decades, he has been in the forefront in the development of the law of common interest communities, including the condominium, planned community, and cooperative forms of ownership. He is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, the Anglo-American Real Property Institute, and The American Law Institute; and was, for 18 years, an adjunct professor at the Vermont Law School. A member of the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws, he is chair of the NCCUSL Drafting Committee to Revise the Uniform Common Interest Ownership Act.
