JANITORIAL BID POSSIBILITIES Please submit a bid for each of the three (3) possibilities: 1) Cleaning on Tuesday, Thursday and once during the weekend using specifications attached. 2) Cleaning daily (Monday through Thursday) and once during the weekend using specifications attached. 3) Clean Water Company front lobby and empty kitchen trash daily and clean using specifications attached on Tuesday, Thursday and once during the weekend.
GLASGOW CITY HALL GLASGOW WATER COMPANY DAILY CLEANING CHECKLIST SPECIFICATIONS 1. Do not have other people involved in cleaning City Hall except your employees. 2. Vacuum all carpets, mop tile / linoleum floors, especially bathrooms. 3. Dust hardwood floors, clean with special wood floor cleaner as needed. 4. Empty all trash cans. 5. Clean all restrooms. 6. Clean / Dust furniture as needed. 7. Keep kitchen areas clean Wash coffee pot, etc. 8. Clean Council Chambers and Closed Session Room prior to each meeting and after each meeting. Check to see if cleaning is needed from other uses. 9. Strip and wax all tile and linoleum floors once a year. 10. Clean windows and doors. Keep walls clean of handprints and marks. 11. Clean front and back stairwells. Dust rails weekly. 12. Clean outside the front door and rear building door for trash and leaves. Empty cigarette receptacle weekly. 13. Check with Office once a month to see if there are areas that need special attention. 14. Furnish all necessary cleaning supplies for building and paper supplies for bathrooms (toilet paper, hand towels and hand soap). 15. Cleaning contract will cover ALL offices on three (3) floors and the Mezzanine level of City Hall. 16. Successful bidder is required to furnish a 24-hour emergency phone number. 17. Successful bidder must furnish liability insurance. 18. Cleaning contract will run from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012. 19. Do not have other people involved in cleaning except your employees that are approved by the Police Chief. 2. Vacuum all carpets daily; mop tile / linoleum floors daily. 3. Empty all trash cans daily. 4. Clean all restrooms daily, mop floors. 5. Keep kitchen area clean Wash dishes, coffee pot, etc., daily. 6. Clean windows and doors daily. Keep walls clean of marks and handprints. 7. Clean stairwells front and back daily, dust and clean rails weekly. 8. Clean outside the entrance doors for trash and leaves, clean outside building drains of debris daily. Keep up all cigarette butts. 9. Check with Police Chief every Monday to see if there are areas that need special attention. 10. Strip and wax all tile / linoleum floors once yearly. 11. Clean and mop training room in basement, empty trash daily, all other cleaning as needed. 12. Furnish all necessary cleaning supplies for building and paper supplies for bathrooms (toilet paper, hand towels and hand soap). 13. Successful bidder may be required to do minor maintenance (change light bulbs, etc.). Major maintenance items are to be reported to the Police Chief. 14. Successful bidder must be available to clean facility after 4 p.m. 15. Successful bidder is required to furnish a 24-hour emergency phone number. 16. Cleaning contract will run from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012. 17. Successful bidder must furnish liability insurance. 18.
