Open International Design Competition is being organized among various Universities and research partners including the Society of Wetland Scientists, USGS National Wetlands Research Center. Plans focused on issues related to am/pm student drop-off and pick-up safety issues as well as image of school. Student designs were presented to the school, parents, and board members with final design ideas serving as basis for development of professional project by Meyers Welsh Architecture + Design. 2006 Landscape Installations Studio Exercise Highbanks Metro Park Richard Rapp, Park Manager Construction Studio developed site-specific landscape installations for public display along the park s riverside trail. The installations were in place for five weeks and served as an added attraction to the park and demonstration of students work at the KSA. 2006 Ohio Chapter ASLA Student Awards Jury Jury for National ASLA Award KSA Faculty Rep with Jose Parral

2006 Sustainable Public Housing Studio w/ Dayton Metro Housing Authority Dayton Metro Housing Authority Mary DelRaso, Planning and Development Studio jointly taught w/ Jose Parral focused on research and development of sustainable landscape models for a number of DMHA properties. Students research/designs were published for the DMHA in a reference text following public presentation of the work. 2006 KSA ULI Student Urban Design Competition OSU Faculty Coordinator Knowlton School of Architecture, Columbus, OH Facilitated and organized participation of students and faculty from each section of the KSA, Fisher College of Business, as well as regional professionals. In 2007/08 ULI Central Ohio will be sponsoring annual student participation in this competition.
