Key Insights Residential launches in North & East regions witnessed a decline of 18 per cent in August 16 as compared to the previous month Kolkata outperformed Gurgaon and Noida with an increase of 51 per cent in new launches as compared to the previous month, contributing around 76 per cent of the combined launches of Gurgaon, Noida and Kolkata While prices in Gurgaon and Noida remained stagnant as compared to previous year, prices of major localities in Kolkata appreciated in the range of 2 per cent to 12 per cent annually, primarily led by localities such as Salt lake and Bonhoogly News & Deals Signature Global is likely to invest around Rs.950 Crore to develop 5,000 low-cost homes in Gurgaon under the Haryana government's affordable housing policy Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) to spend Rs.700 Crore to acquire nearly 102 acres of land for the construction of the Central Peripheral Road (CPR) In a move to boost the residential sector, the Kolkata Port Trust (KPT) plans to lease around 420 acres of land in the city for the development residential townships and commercial plots along the port The proposed airport at Jewar has got the formal no-objection certificate from the Ministry of Defence, Government of India Page 01
