LOTTERY SCHEDULE FULL APARTMENT SELECTION March 6 Groups able to FILL FULL apartments (Beaujolais 4; Tuscany 6; and Sauvignon 7) will select rooms on Tuesday, March 6. Only one person from the group will need to login to the ResidentWeb at the earliest appointment time. The group representative will add all the other housemates by using their Name and Roommate/Group Access Code. GENERAL ROOM SELECTION March 7 and March 8 If you do not select a room on March 6, you will want to select a room either on March 7 or March 8 based on your assigned lottery number/appointment time. The time represents the earliest you can login to the ResidentWeb to start the room selection process. Please note: In order to be fair and give individuals and other pairings an opportunity to also reserve space in Tuscany and Beaujolais, only a certain amount of full apartments will be available on March 6. If your group is not able to book their desired space on Tuesday, March 6 they can try back on March 7 or 8. If there are no spaces together at your appointment time on the 7 or 8 you may need to split the group up. NEED HELP! INFORMATION ABOUT THE APARTMENTS Students can choose from a variety of living accommodations. It s important to know what the accommodations are and their numbering system. It s recommended that you narrow your selection if you have an earlier appointment time. Beaujolais (http://www.sonoma.edu/housing/docs/maps/2018/beaujolais.pdf ) 4 bedroom / 4 bath apartments = 4 occupants All single bedrooms All buildings are available except Classico which will be the Transfer House for 2017-2018. Review the Beaujolais Village map to identify where the different floor plans are in each building Sauvignon Village (http://www.sonoma.edu/housing/docs/maps/2018/sauvignon.pdf ) 4 bedroom/ 4 bath apartments = 7 occupants One triple occupancy, one double occupancy and two single occupancy bedrooms Bedrooms A and D are single occupancy bedrooms Bedrooms B is a triple occupancy bedroom Bedroom C is a double occupancy bedroom All Sauvignon Village apartments are the same floor plan Only Burgundy and Colombard are available for current students Tuscany Village (http://www.sonoma.edu/housing/docs/maps/2018/tuscany.pdf ) 4 bedroom/ 4 bath townhomes = 6 occupants Two double and two single occupancy bedrooms Bedrooms A and D are double occupancy; bedroom A is downstairs Bedrooms B and C are single occupancy There are five accessible units throughout Tuscany with a few modifications. These apartments have lower countertops, breakfast bars and shorter bar stools. The appliances are slightly different so that they can accommodate an individual in a wheelchair. The microwave rests on the counter instead of above the oven range. The accessible units do have cabinets underneath the sink, but can be adapted and removed if needed. The accessible units include Piemonte 217, Provence 310, Savoie 607, Trentino 702, Veneto 813. The floor plans are all the same in Tuscany except for one feature in the kitchen. In the corner apartments throughout the Village (i.e. PM205 or PM214) the window above the kitchen sink is replaced with additional storage. Rates for the full Academic Year of 2018-2019 (Rate Schedule for 2018-2019) Beaujolais, Sauvignon and Tuscany singles are $10,826 Sauvignon and Tuscany doubles are $8,654 Sauvignon triples are $5,972 Page 5 of 11
ResidentWeb Login Page How to Select An Apartment/Room Please read all the information. March 6 is for full groups only. If you don t have a full group you will need to login Wednesday or Thursday depending on your lottery number and time. Some of the labels may be different for the General Room Selection on Wednesday and Thursday as these screen shots are specific to the Full Apartment process. Don t Forget to Accept Your License Agreement Every student offered a space will need to accept the terms and conditions of the License Agreement online no later than 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 8. If you fail to accept the License Agreement, you will forfeit your space on campus. To accept your agreement, create or update Roommate Access Code, or book a space, click the green Current Resident button. Page 6 of 11
Current Residents Page This is the page where you accept your offer, update Roommate Access Code, or book a space, click on the appropriate button to begin the process. Welcome to Room Selection Read through each screen carefully while completing this process. Click Next Step to begin. Page 7 of 11
Full Apartment Selection Information. At this point, you will want to make sure you have all of your Roommate Information with you if you are the one with the earliest lottery time. You will not be able to select rooms until you add your housemates successfully. Click Next Step to add Housemates. There are links to the various village maps for your convenience. It s up to the student to know what room is a single, double or triple in the different areas. The Rate Schedule for 2018-2019 is located on our website. Page 8 of 11
Add Roommates Click on the green + to add roommates. You will enter their first and last name or email address, click Search. When the correct individual appears you will enter that individual s Roommate /Group Access Code. Click Select and continue to add to fill a full apartment. Apartments will be listed based on how many people are added plus one for the logged in person. For example, it will only show apartments for a total of 4 people which would be Beaujolais. Click Search for Rooms Available Apartments Did you take the time to read the information on page 5 about the different accommodations? To search you can click the arrow to have the list display the different Villages and Buildings. Once you highlight a building it will show what s available. The system will only show apartments that match your gender. You will click on the bright green Lock button to lock the apartment and assign bedspaces. Page 9 of 11
Lock Apartment and Assign Bedspaces You will have 6 minutes to complete the process which is plenty of time. You will assign bedspaces to yourself and the housemates. If you don t want this apartment, you will need to click on Release Lock and go back to the previous page to search for available rooms again. Scroll down and click Next Step to confirm your reservations. Confirm Spaces Read over the bookings to make sure they are correct. You can manually email or download this summary page. Each resident will receive an automated email (Email Confirmation with Room Bookings) with their assignment once the logged in person clicks Finish YOU MUST CLICK FINISH TO COMPLETE THE PROCESS!
