National Trust Cottages Access Statement/Guide 89 Church Lawn Stourton Warminster BA12 6QE Property Ref 003017 Introduction Built from local stone the property is located at the entrance to the garden of Stourhead. It has views over to the village church and a concealed and enclosed raised garden accessed via outdoor steps. The spacious property sleeps up to 7 people in 4 bedrooms and has a separate bathroom and a shower room. There is a wide hallway and landing with minimal/no thresholds between rooms. The ceiling heights are high in all but one room but the door heights are low in places. The property heated with oil and has an open fire in the sitting room. The Cottage is arranged as follows: Ground Floor: Front door leading into a long, wide central hallway with a quarter turn straight staircase. Rooms off the hallway are the dining room, living room, kitchen with breakfast table, and utility with a toilet off the utility. First Floor: Wide central landing leading to twin room, double room, single room (with slightly lower ceiling height) double room.
