The Registrar f Real Prperty (RORP) maintains register f all prperties. Any prperty in the DIFC must be registered with the Registrar f Real Prperty (RORP) under the relevant DIFC Laws and Regulatins. The remaining RORP frms are available n http://www.difc.ae/rrp-frms Please nte the fllwing when filling/submitting the applicable frms: All fields must be filled cmpletely and clearly including the date, witness signature and name etc. All fields must be typed and dully filled. Freehld Transfer (Sale and Purchase f Real Prperty) Applicatin fr Prperty Registratin This sectin sets ut the main requirements fr the registratin f prperty lcated within the DIFC. Transfer f Freehld Transactin must be registered with the RRP within 30 days f entering int the transactin. Failure t register within 30 days will result in fines as prescribed in the DIFC laws and Regulatins. If yu wish t have further assurance n the status f the prperty that yu are intending t acquire, yu can apply fr an fficial search request t identify the status f the unit/plt that yu are acquiring. The search request prcedure is set in this dcument under the Official Search Sectin. 6

Registering a Transfer f Freehld can nly be submitted thrugh the DIFC Client Prtal. If yu wish t submit a request fr Freehld Transfer, then please btain access t the DIFC Client Prtal by fllwing the steps belw: Please visit the fllwing link: https://prtal.difc.ae/signin Navigate t the panel n the left side and click n Request Access fr Nn DIFC clients. Fill in the Prperty Services Access request frm and uplad a valid passprt cpy then click Submit. Upn submissin, the system will send a ntificatin t the email address prvided with user access details. Once yu get the access please fllw the belw steps belw t submit the Freehld Transfer Applicatin: Visit the DIFC Client Prtal: https://prtal.difc.ae/. Lg int the Prtal with the user name and passwrd prvided. G t the Prperty Services sectin. Click n Transfer f Freehld. Befre filling the frm please nte the belw: The service request submitted n the DIFC Client Prtal is fr the initial review and bking the appintment t finalize the transactin, The Freehld Transfer registratin r recrding will be cmpleted upn submissin f the Freehld Transfer Fee, all the remaining fees and riginal dcuments. All riginal frms and dcuments shuld be prvided by the appintment date and time. Transfer f Freehld must be registered / recrded alng with the payment f the Freehld Transfer Fee within 30 days frm the date f entering int the Freehld Agreement. Failure t cmply with the deadline will result in a penalty f USD 1,000 and an interest as per DIFC Real Prperty Laws and Regulatins. If the transfer is happening n a mrtgaged unit, then the discharge f mrtgage can be dne befre r alng with the submissin f the service request t register/recrd the Freehld Transfer. All the dcuments upladed n the service request must be clear and with a high reslutin. Failure t submit clear scanned cpies will result in rejecting the request. Submissin Prcess Fill in the required fields n the service request then click Save The system will direct yu t the next page. Review the details entered then add the tenant details and the landlrd details. Please ensure all the infrmatin prvided is accurate. Once the seller and buyer details are entered, navigate t Dwnlad/Uplad Dc t uplad the required dcuments. Click n Submit. A pp up message will appear infrming the user that freehld registratin frms have been generated. Navigate t Dwnlad/Uplad Dc again and print the generated dcuments (please refer t the dcuments with the status Generated ) Obtain the required signature n the frms and uplad a scanned cpy f all the signed dcuments t the prtal. Click n Save & Submit Upn receipt f the service request, registry services team will review the request and cnfirm the appintment date and time. In case f any pending requirements r infrmatin, the service request will be returned fr mre infrmatin r fr re-uplad. An email ntificatin and SMS will be sent accrdingly. The freehld transfer fees f 5% are nt applicable. Fees f USD 273 (AED 1003) will be required.
