PROJECT OVERVIEW Cape Cod Mall is anchored by Macy*s Apparel, Macy*s Home and Sears. It boasts mini-anchors Best Buy, Marshall s and Barnes & Noble. Cape Cod Mall features a 400 seat Food Court, Regal Cinema Megaplex, and a mix of over 90 specialty and local retailers. It s shopper base triples over the summer/ tourist months. 3

HVAC RETAIL TENANTS This is an enclosed single level rooftop unit mall. Engineer is required to accommodate conditions that may affect the performance of the HVAC system for their store. Equipment Downflow rooftop unit on full curb with electric heat (natural gas may be available for heat). Unit(s) to be located in designated structural bays. Modify existing roof structure to support equipment. Condensate Drain Condensate to be piped from rooftop unit to sanitary system within tenant space. Outside/Relief Air Economizer and barometric or fan powered relief through Tenant installed components. Return Plenum (Ducted return is for odor producing Tenants only and subject to Landlord approval). Smoke Exhaust/Relief Tenant to provide smoke exhaust fan on roof capable of exhausting 6 air changes per hour based on the volume from floor to ceiling if a ducted return is used or to the bottom of the roof deck if plenum return is used. Toilet Exhaust By Tenant including fan, ductwork and roof cap. Odor, Thermal & Process Equipment Exhaust Size for application by Tenant. Temperature Controls Stand-alone digital electric/electronic control system by Tenant. Test & Balance Tenant shall employ a TAB, NEBB or AABC Certified Air Balance Contractor to perform final testing and balancing. PLUMBING RETAIL TENANTS Water Redistributed by Landlord via overhead mains for the majority of the Project. Designated connection point within or adjacent to space. ¾ minimum valved connection with city pressure available minus distribution losses. Tenant supplied meter w/remote reader for large water users only. Some existing spaces connect directly to the Water Utility. These are to remain as-is. Waste 4 wye connection off Landlord main. Designated connection point within or adjacent to space. Vent Through roof by Tenant if not existing. Grease Waste No Landlord provisions Natural Gas When available, all work by Tenant. Toilet Rooms As required by Code. Drinking Fountain Per Code and ADA requirements. Service Sink Per Code. Also refer to MEP-1 sheet for general criteria. 25
FIRE PROTECTION RETAIL TENANTS Implementation Tenant shall directly employ the Landlord designated contractor to install and/or modify existing grid or utilize connection provided. Tenant Flow Switch Not permitted. Valve for Tenant Space Required per state code effective in 2009. Also refer to MEP-1 sheet for general criteria. 26
ELECTRICAL RETAIL TENANTS Voltage 277/480, 3ph, 4-wire. Existing 120/208,3ph,4 wire services to be modified to Landlord 277/480 system. Landlord Equipment Metering switchboards with circuit breakers for Tenant services. Power Provided by Landlord s redistribution system. Metering Furnished by Landlord. Modifications to be at Tenant cost. Capacity TENANT MAXIMUM ALLOTMENT IS 15 WATTS PER SQUARE FOOT. Submit connected and demand electrical load data to support electric service size requested. Minimum conduit size is 1 ¼. Telephone 1 conduit with pull wire to designated connection point in central locations. Fire Alarm Landlord provided connection point. Tenant to furnish all Code required initiating and notification devices and connect to Landlord system via addressable modules.
