The undersigned, a committee appointed by the Council of the AMERICAN MATHEMATICAL SOCIETY to audit the accounts of the Treasurer for the current year, beg to report as follows : We have examined the statement of receipts, including dues, initiation fees, life membership commutations, and sales of publications, and find the same to be correct. We have examined the statement of the disbursements, compared it with the vouchers, and find that they agree. The balance reported by the Fifth Avenue Trust Company, December 17, 1900, namely, $2,170.64, subject to a deduction of $9.90, the amount of one outstanding check, agrees with the Treasurer's report.
