RECITALS A. The County of San Mateo acquired fee title to the public highway known as San Pedro Terrace Road by way of a grant deed from the Hibernia Savings and Loan Society, which deed was recorded on April 17, 1934, in Book 614 of the Official Records of the County of San Mateo, at Page 462. B. Pursuant to Streets and Highways Code section 989, all right, title, and interest of San Mateo County in and to San Pedro Terrace Road, including the underlying fee, is determined to have vested in the City of Pacifica upon incorporation of territory including a portion of the road in 1957, and upon annexation of territory including the remainder of the road in 2005. C. In order to provide a clear record of title to San Pedro Terrace Road, the County of San Mateo has agreed to execute, and the City of Pacifica intends to record, this quitclaim deed releasing and quitclaiming to the City of Pacifica all right, title, and interest of the County of San Mateo in San Pedro Terrace Road. NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the receipt and adequacy of which are acknowledged, Transferor does remise, release, and forever quitclaim to Transferee all right, title, and interest Transferor has in the real property located in the County of San Mateo, California, described in the attached Exhibit A and incorporated by reference. 1
