Challenges for the Future Implement one stop agency principle to receive all necessary services at minimum time and at one location (www.latvija.lv) Reduce the time of services Avoid double data entry Simplify procedures and integrate services between different authorities

Data exchange is not enough! To make life for citizens easier, it is necessary to simplify procedures, integrate services and find ways to help people to reduce number of those institutions which they have to visit to solve one problem SLS need to reduce service time for customers SLS has to change current procedures to providing benefits to society

Benefits of Restricted Territories Information System Centralized data on restricted territories Up to date encumbrances data in Cadastre Up to date cadastral value Simplified prcedures and easier life for surveyors, which won t have to visit many institutions to map encumbrances in land boundary plan

Construction IS and Territory planning IS Building data in Cadastre from Construction IS Data of protective zones from Territory Planning IS Implementation of both systems will be launched in 2014

Benefits Data exchange at system level would save both - time and resources Faster data exchange between organizations and the SLS Improved data quality Reduced the administrative burden Faster customer service time
