Authority be granted to enter into a permanent easement (the asement) with Bell Canada, for the relocation of an existing Bell Cabinet, on terms and conditions as set out herein and as deemed appropriate by the Chief Corporate Officer or designate, and in a form satisfactory to the City Solicitor; 2. Authority be granted for the Chief Corporate Officer to administer and manage the asement including the provision of any consent, approvals, waivers, notices and notices of termination provided that the Chief Corporate Officer may, at anytime, reter consideration of such matter to City Council for its determination and direction; 3. The appropriate City Officials be authorized and directed to take the necessary action to give effect thereto. Financial Impact There is no financial impact resulting from this AF. No funds will be exchanged for the Bell cabinet relocation, as the City has already been compensated by receiving ownership of 6 Gilgorm Road and 320 Chaplin Avenue to fulfill the requirement of Section 4.3.8 of the Official Plan Policy, The Property Management Committee has reviewed the relocation request and recommends that the asement be conveyed to Bell Canada. All costs involved in the relocation will be the responsibility of Metrolinx as pad of the Metrolinx glinton-crosstown LAT Project. The eputy City Manager & Chief Financial Officer has reviewed this AF and agrees with the financial impact information. Comments Bell Canada currently has an existing cabinet on 310 Chaplin Crescent, which is part of Chaplin Parkette. As part of the construction of the main entrance of Chaplin Station for the glinton-crosstown Light Rail Transit Project, Bell Canada is required to relocate its existing cabinet from Chaplin Parkette onto the Property. A permanent easement is required over the Property to install and maintain Bell s cabinet at the new location.
