The primary key on all of the files is Account Number. It is not necessary to use all of the files to obtain information. If you are looking for mailing name and address only, you could use the Owner file by itself. If you needed the physical location of the property in addition to the mailing address you would have to use the Account and Owner files tying them together with the primary key field. The Value Detail file contains information on the land and improvement values. The Land Attributes file contains information about Location, Easements, Size, Topography, Utilities, etc. The Improvement File describes the property type and contains information about any improvements on the property, square footages, building characteristics, number of rooms, year built, etc. The Improvement Detail File contains information about any sales within the past 5 years. Any Business Personal record with a Status of I has not filed a business return but may still be an active account. The Status will be changed from I to A if the Business return is received. These are standardized layouts provided by our vendor. Cleveland County may not use some of the fields and they may be blank. All dates will reflect the date as MM/DD/YYYY.
