St Werburghs Centre Our Facilities Looking to hire a meeting room, hold a business conference or host a family party? St Werburghs Centre has plenty of space for it all. We pride ourselves in our professional response to individual needs providing excellent facilities and services for business and our community. We won the Community Venue of the Year Award at Voscurs 2013! St Werburghs Centre offers rooms within its characterful Victorian building or contemporary and eco-friendly new built Annexe. Both buildings are fully accessible and all rooms are situated on ground level. There are automatic doors and ramps making access to the buildings easier. Rooms 8 and 12 are equipped with a hearing loop and we also have a portable loop for use in other rooms. We provide: high speed internet connection refreshments and catering projection, IT and training equipment printing, photocopying, e-mail and fax facilities. We are located in East Central Bristol, just off the M32; a short walk from local cafes, restaurants, shops and post office. It is a vibrant residential area with a nearby park and easily accessible off-street parking. There is also a car park at the rear of the building as well as plenty of bike parking facilities. ROOM 1: MAIN HALL This large hall is perfect for training and conferences, as well as being an ideal space for group work and activities such as yoga, dance and martial arts. Floor space is approximately 13.5 by 7.5 metres. Maximum capacity 150 people at music events or up to 100 people conference style. Suitable for workshops or training involving smaller groups with refreshments on-site. Internet connection and projection facilities. Large windows, wooden floors and high ceilings add to a great atmosphere. LOBBY With floor space of 16 by 6 meters, wooden floors and very high ceiling this wonderful space is soon to host a New Café serving delicious food and drinks. The space is open for community events and voluntary actions. Once you have booked a training room with us or a conference your delegates can use it during their breaks, for lunch or registration. Local residents are welcome to make use of the PCs, all provided with free internet access. Open for free skill swapping events, language exchange, residents meetings and new ideas. ROOM 4: KITCHEN The newly refurbished 5 star hygiene awarded kitchen is equipped with: a commercial six burner hob a large double oven an extractor fan a double fridge Washing up sinks, hand wash basins and work top units are positioned at two different levels and it makes the kitchen accessible to wheelchair users and children. The room is large, bright and furnished with plenty of storage - fitted and lockable stainless steel cupboards. There is room for three tables for food preparation or food consumption. We provide storage for regular users and there are a number of power sockets for your appliances. As well as being the perfect place for your catering business the Kitchen is also suitable for use as a classroom or a meeting space for up to 12 people. ROOM 7 Refurbished in summer 2013, this room is suitable for use as a meeting space, a classroom or a training room. Floor space approximately 7.5 by 6.3 metres. Will accommodate up to 25 people around tables, 30 in a circle or 45 conference style. 7 laptops can be made available for IT sessions. Equipped with high speed internet connection and a white board. It is also suitable for dance, yoga or massage. ROOM 8 This lovely bright square room is suitable for training, meetings and activities such as dance classes, tai chi and yoga. It is often used as a crèche. Floor space 7.5 by 7.5 metres. Holds up to 50 people conference style and up to 30 for training. Equipped with a hearing loop. ROOM 9 It is located in our eco friendly annexe and benefits from underfloor heating and double height windows. Ideal for conferences, training meetings and yoga. Floor space of approx. 58 square metres. Suitable for groups of up to 60 people conference style and up to 30 for training. High speed internet connection and projection facilities. It has a soundproof foldable wall through to Room 10 and can be booked as one big space for bigger events or if you need an additional space for registration, crèche, lunch or refreshments. ROOM 10 It is located in our eco friendly annexe and benefits from underfloor heating. It is currently set up in a board room style but other arrangements can be made on request at the time of booking. Floor space of approx. 41 square metres. Suitable for groups of up to 25 people. ROOM 12 This is our most popular room in the new Annexe. Right next to the Car Park and relatively private. It doesn t adjoin to another hire room so quiet and peacful environment can be guaranteed. It is suitable for anything from tai chi and yoga to training sessions and conferences for up to 60 attendees. You are welcome to view it prior to placing your booking. This modern room is located in our newly built annexe and benefits from underfloor heating and double height windows. Floor space of approx. 58 square metres. Suitable for groups of up to 60 people conference style and up to 30 for training. High speed internet connection, hearing loop and projection facilities.
