Introduction Clúid Housing Association has been building and managing quality homes in Ireland since 1994. Clúid is an Approved Housing Body with the Department of Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government. In the past, local authorities provided nearly all social housing. However in recent years, housing association provision has increased greatly, and during the last ten years, housing associations have provided a quarter of all new social housing. Clúid has ample experience working in partnership with private developers, local authorities and other approved housing bodies to provide excellent quality homes for the most vulnerable in society. These developments vary in type from New Build Schemes to Developer. Turnkey, Urban Regeneration Projects and Stock and Land transfers. Clúid has extensive experience and expertise in the development and management of social and private rented housing. Beacon South Quarter, Sandyford, Dublin 18 is a good example of this where we have both social and private tenants in our apartments. Over the past 20 years, Clúid has extended its property portfolio and it currently has over 5,500 properties in management, with the majority owned by Clúid and the remainder managed on behalf of third party owners. As one of the largest housing associations in Ireland Clúid is focused on expanding our portfolio further through Construction and Acquisitions projects. We are also committed to the promotion of innovative housing policy initiatives in Ireland. As an organisation, Clúid is always a frontrunner in exploring new options and opportunities. 4/5
