Baptist Hospital (Pensacola) Emergency Room expansion: Design team leader for a new 17,000 square foot expansion of an existing 12,000 square foot Emergency Service Department. Maintaining operation of the existing services 24/7 while construction was under way was a specific challenge for this project and required regular if not constant coordination between the design professionals, hospital administrators and staff as well as the contractor. Responsibilities included contract writing and negotiations coordination of all design professionals and well as working directly with the owner and contractor. Duties included creating and maintaining design schedules and budgets as well as working directly with the contractor and subcontractors for owner directed changes. 1997 to 1998 Teamwork University of Miami Continuing Service Contract: Architectural Team Leader and Project Manager for a variety of projects associated with the development and adaptive reuse of academic spaces for the University of Miami. Duties included contract writing and negotiations. West Palm Beach City Center Design/Build team leader for a new 250,000 SF City Hall, Library and Photographic Museum. Senior Project Manager for a $150 million, multi-use civic project for the City of West Palm Beach.
