Frank Owen Gehry is a Canadian born American architect, Now Living in Los Angeles. Born:February 28, 1929 (age 87) Frank Gehry studied architecture and design at the University of Southern California and Harvard University and has received more than a dozen honorary degrees from various universities. Gehry is known for his use of bold, postmodern shapes, eclectic style and original building materials. Vanity Fair has referred to him as "the most important architect of our age." He was honored in 1989 with the prestigious Pritzker Prize that recognizes a living architect whose work has provided significant contributions to humanity through architecture. My Opinion: I don't really like any of Frank Gehry's work as I think the buildings he designed are not really my style. I just think that he has way too much going on and they all look bent or broken in some way and that's not really my style.

Dame Zaha Mohammad Hadid, DBE was an Iraqi born British architect. The first woman and first Muslim to receive the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2004. She was also awarded the Stirling Prize in 2010 and 2011. She was known for her futuristic designs and use of curving formations with fragmented geometry and numerous points of perspective. She studied maths at the American University of Beirut before enrolling in the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. She carried on the Modernist architectural approach first pioneered by Frank Lloyd Wright. My Opinion: To be honest I'm not really a fan of Zara Hadid's work as I just find that it looks like alots going on and I'm not really into all the curves and bends, I'm more into straight clean crisp looks.

Sir Norman Foster is a leading and talanted British architect known for his sleek, modern office buildings made of steel and glass. Norman Foster was born on June 1, 1935 in Manchester, England From 1956 to 1962 he studied architecture at Manchester University's School of Architecture and at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. At the turn of the 21st century, he began working on world landmarks, including rebuilding the Reichstag in Berlin after the reunification of Germany. Foster and his wife founded Foster Associates in London in 1967. My Opinion: Norman Foster is up there as another favrouite of mines as I also like how he uses alot of glass for his main material. His work looks abit similar to Richard Rogers work, it also has that clean crisp look and looks kind of futuristic.

In 1977 Rogers created the Richard Rogers Partnership, a firm featuring some of the designers who worked on the Pompidou Centre. My Opinion: I think Richard Rogers is one of my favrouite architect, as I really like how he uses alot of glass instead of other normal materials like bricks and I like the crisp clean look of the buildings. They make it look really modern and futuristic.
