Conference Topics IAAO Workshop 155 - Depreciation Analysis Depreciation Analysis provides a comprehensive, advanced treatment of the techniques of estimating depreciation of residential property. Through a series of market oriented case studies and demonstration problems, types of depreciation and generally recognized methods for measuring depreciation are covered, with emphasis on the observed condition method. Depreciation measurements are applied to a single subject property, providing experience in analyzing the advantages and limitations of each method. This workshop includes an exam. CMA credit, CMA advanced credit, & IAAO recertification credit: 15 hours Maine Chapter, IAAO Meeting by the Bonfire. This will be the Maine Chapter s spring meeting. The topic will be Maine IAAO Instructors. The tiered assessor levels introduced by the Property Tax Division recently have generated an increased level of interest in accessible IAAO courses. This meeting will present the idea of certifying Maine assessors as IAAO instructors. There will also be a drawing for a special prize that will be awarded to some lucky person in attendance! Considering the location and the hour, this will be a casual meeting. And as if a casual bonfire meeting in the mountains of Western Maine with a special prize drawing wasn t enough, The Maine Chapter gives you more. There will be cheese! There will be crackers! And, for you adventurous types, there will be cheese AND crackers! Everyone - members, non-members, and Jordan Hotel staff alike - are welcome to join this meeting. CMA credit 2 hours SPACE IS LIMITED - REGISTER EARLY TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT IN THE 2018 PROPERTY TAX INSTITUTE
