Sealed tenders are invited in 2 bid form from the BATTERY MANUFACTURERS/DEALERS/DISTRIBUTORS OR UPS VENDORS BASED AT TELENGANA & ANDHRA PRADESH OR HAVING SERVICE FACILITIES AT TELENGANA & ANDHRA PRADESH ONLY for supply & installation of various capacities of Batteries of approved makes of Batteries as per our requirement. Eligibility Criteria: i. The Battery manufacturers/dealers/distributor or UPS vendors should have sufficient network of offices in Telengana and Andhra Pradesh. List of offices to be submitted. ii. Proof of Authorized dealership to be submitted. iii. They should have service facility in both Telengana and Andhra Pradesh. iv. They should have supplied similar capacity Batteries to Govt/PSU /Banks/Insurance companies / reputed IT firms etc 1. The technical bid shall be submitted in a separate envelope super scribed Supply of Batteries with & without buyback offer Technical bid and shall contain the following documents. A Copy of Banks approval / empanelment letter in case of UPS vendors shall be submitted. List of service facility with address and contact persons/number etc Experience certificate/ work order copy from Govt/PSU /Banks/Insurance companies / reputed IT firms etc The enclosed technical specifications duly filled in ACCEPTED or NOT ACCEPTED and signed and stamped by the authorized signatory of the vendor. Please use the downloaded specifications only and do not type again. In case of any deviation, a separate detailed deviation statement may be enclosed if no deviation statement is enclosed then it will be deemed that the tenderer has accepted all our terms and conditions and the rates quoted accordingly. The technical bids shall be opened on the same day at 3.30pm.
3. The price bid process is through e-procurement (reverse auction) which will be conducted by M/s E-procurement Technologies, Ahemadabad. BATTERY MA NUFA CTURERS, DEALERS, DISTRIBUTORS OR UPS VENDORS having service facilities in TELENGANA,ANDHRA PRADESH are only eligible to participate in the tender. For necessary guidance/training on the bidding process, vendors are to be in touch with M/s E- p ro c ur e m e nt Te c hnol o gi e s Ltd, Ahmedabad Unsuccessful tenderers can collect EMD after 5 days of reverse auction process. 4. The technical quote will be evaluated first and only eligible vendors are allowed to participate in the reverse auction after scrutiny of the technical bid. Bank reserves the right not to allow any vendor, for participating in the reverse auction, basing on their response in the technical bid. The proposed date of reverse auction will be on 25.07.2014 at 11.00AM. The reverse auction date is tentative.your offer should be valid till 31.01.2015. 5. L1 vendor, immediately on completion of the reverse auction activity, has to provide the unit-wise prices of all the items in the tender to the Bank. Successful vendors should be prepared to supply additional quantities also to the Bank as and when orders are placed during the validity period of the tender. These prices will be advised to all our offices in Te l e n g a na & Andhra Pradesh and the prices quoted are applicable for the orders received by you from all our offices in T e l e n g a n a & Andhra Pradesh. 6. In case L1 vendor is not able to supply in time, Bank has the right to order the same through the L2 & L3 vendors at the same price of L1. 7. Each line item is treated as an individual item and order for the various battery ratings will be placed against the respective L1 after finalization. 8. All pages of the tender document shall be signed by authorized signatory and stamped. All corrections shall be duly signed and stamped. Bids received after the above date/time will not be considered. 9. Please quote separately for each of items and indicate the ratings of battery (viz., 12 V, AH and no. of batteries for each item) in the format given below. Tenders quoting lesser AH than the specified shall be rejected. However, Tenderer s quoting Higher AH over and above our specification/requirement will not be given any additional cost/weightage. 10. Batteries should carry a minimum warranty of two years from the date of installation. On Site Warranty should include free replacement of b a t t e r i e s during the warranty period.
11. The ra te should be inclusive of all duties, taxes, levies, transport, transit insurance, loading-unloading etc. The Octroi charges /Entry Tax ( if applicable) will be paid separately, wherever it is applicable on production of original bills/receipts. The rates shall be firm throughout the execution of the order. No variation in the quoted rates subsequently will be allowed and no additional claims other than quoted rates will be entertained. The rates should be inclusive of the delivery and installation charges of the at our sites. 12. The vendor must quote for battery rates with and without buyback offer both. 13. Payment terms: i) No advance is payable. ii) On receipt of complete materials with satisfactory onsite installation, testing and commissioning 100% of cost will be paid. iii) However, where delivery has been made but installation, testing commissioning could not be carried out due to the site not ready/clear 75% of cost will be paid. iv) Further, 25% will be paid on completion of installation, testing and commissioning. 14. Bank reserves the right to reject the offer without assigning reason or what so ever. 15. The Batteries should be installed within 4 weeks from the date of confirmed purchase order. If the delivery is not done within the stipulated time period, a penalty of ½ % will be levied on the cost per week or part thereof for the delayed period subject to the maximum of 5% of the order value. 16. The Battery shall conform to the Bank s standard specifications supplied with this notice and any deviation will be suitably penalized. Conditional tenders are not acceptable. In case of any deviation, a separate detailed deviation statement may be enclosed. If no deviation statement is enclosed, then it will be deemed that the tenderer has accepted all our terms and conditions and the rates quoted accordingly. 17. Whenever inter state movement is involved, the compliance and completion of statutory formalities including matters relating to transport, Sales tax, Excise duty, or other access or tax and delivery of Battery at the bank specified premises it is at the sole responsibility of and at the cost of vendor only. In case any document is to be signed for the purpose, the same may be obtained by the vendors representative from the specified office/branch of the bank and the same will be signed and returned by the bank after due verification. 18. Please note that if the technical bid contains the price bid or copy of the same or any indication to the quoted price, the tender will be rejected outright. Failure to enclose any /

Please do not quote the prices in the above format. The vendors to specify, the make of battery they propose to use, they have to submit detailed literature of battery and battery manufacturers capability etc. The Bank reserves the right to randomly decide to carry out testing of a few Batteries at site after installation at the cost of UPS vendor, who will be required to arrange for all the requisite variacs, maters, loads etc. and carry out the tests through vendor s personnel in the presence of Bank s Officials.
