SUMMARY/DISCUSSION: The claimant has proven through related documentation that the Grant Deed and subsequent transfer of real property was recorded in error. A Correction Grant Deed was recorded to remedy the error in title. The County is therefore recommending the approval for the refund of Documentary Transfer Tax in the amount of $1045.00.
