Dear Affiliate Member, Thank you for your interest in membership with the Seattle King County REALTORS (SKCR). I am proud to serve as the 2017 Affiliate Liaison to the SKCR Board of Directors. As the liaison, I have the opportunity to 1) convey to affiliates, all the important news and information happening in the real estate industry; and 2) bring any comments and concerns from the affiliates to the attention of the Board of Directors. It is a real pleasure for me to represent the affiliate membership, because I believe in the Association and the benefits the association brings to each and every REALTOR. The representation for political issues affecting the real estate market, the strength of the research done every day to protect the REALTORS position, the quality of the clock hour classes and the scholarships that are given are only a few of the many benefits. An affiliate membership of Seattle King County REALTORS is a rewarding partnership in many ways. As we associate and work with the REALTORS, we get to know their needs and wants. By doing so, we become more useful in helping to strengthen their businesses and at the same time, build our own. Being active with the SKCR committees, working on the different projects, and supporting the REALTORS in any way we can, we build relationships, credibility, friends and business. We are working to identify projects and events in which affiliate support and participation will be important. Your participation will afford you excellent networking opportunities within the REALTOR industry. I encourage you to read the enclosed information, which will inform you of the benefits and services that are available to you as a member of the Seattle King County REALTORS. Please join us at our monthly Affiliate meetings on the 3 rd Tuesday of each month at the SKCR office, 9:30-10:30am Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments or concerns.
