TUSKEGEE, AL Tuskegee is the largest city in Macon County, Alabama. The two major employers in Tuskegee are the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System, a hospital complex run by the U.S. Veterans Administration, which employs 1,300 people, and Tuskegee University, which employs approximately 1,000 people and also houses over 8,722 students.
