Homes by Mirvac Design For Living Our aim is to make the road to owning your Mirvac home as simple as possible, guiding you towards a decision that will be right for you and your family. When you choose Homes By Mirvac, you are buying the cumulative knowledge of some of Australia s best architects and designers. We begin designing from the inside out, constantly testing and improving our layouts and features to keep up with new products and materials and also the changing way that people live. Kitchens are central to family life and it s the little things that make the difference cupboards at the right height and position, joinery that maximises every bit of space, workbenches that accommodate more than one cook in the kitchen and a homework book too. Living areas are designed so that there is a natural flow from space to space and from indoors to outdoors with adequate room to arrange sofas and armchairs for the whole family. Living and sleeping zones are welldefined so that there is always a private haven away from the bustle of family life. Of course you will want your home to be a reflection of your own personality and taste so before construction begins you have the opportunity to spend time with our colour consultants to discuss interior colour schemes including carpets, tiles, fixture and fittings. You can also customise the space to suit your particular needs with design options such as heightened ceilings, wider front doors, fully ducted air-conditioning, a covered al fresco area, audio and video intercom systems and built-in microwaves. The Right Choice book provides a full range of options to make your selection easier. Homes by Mirvac Easy steps to moving in Our aim is to make the road to owning your Mirvac home as simple as possible, guiding you towards a decision that will be right for you and your family. You can choose the house design first and then find a lot to suit or vice versa. In the following scenario, we ll assume that you have secured your land and are now ready to select a house to suit the lot and your budget. Here s how it works: a. A Choose your preferred home design and discuss any changes or upgrades with your sales agent. Your agent will submit a Tender Request which can take up to a week to complete. He or she will then make an appointment with you to discuss the tender and make sure that it fits within your budget. If you agree on the price and all the options, you will be required to pay a $5,000 deposit. c. C d. D Once you have paid the deposit and signed the contracts, there are a number of approvals that need to be granted before construction begins. These include building and council approvals. Don t worry, you won t need to do anything for this part of the journey; we take care of it all for you. With approvals in place, construction E b. B Next you get the opportunity to visit our colour room and discuss your interiors with our consultants. You will also need to sign contracts and make sure that your finances are in place so that when progress payments are requested you are prepared. begins and that s when it starts to get exciting. Before you make your final payment and collect your keys, you will be able to inspect your home to make sure that you are happy with the final presentation. If there are any items that need attention, these will be attended to before you collect your keys. Bring along a tape measure so you can start ordering or making curtains and blinds, furniture, fridge and anything else you buy might want to have ready before you move in. f. F Your final payment, made by your bank to Mirvac, is called a Settlement. Once this is completed you can move in and start living in your brand new Mirvac Home. Just in case we missed something at inspection, or you have any little teething problems, Mirvac provides a 90 day warranty period. Just let our customer relations team know what the problem is and we will have it attended to.

As it can be many months from purchase to moving in to you new home we try to keep that shared sense of community alive throughout the development and construction process. Residents will be invited to a range of events to celebrate a special occasion or simply to meet the neighbours. It helps to build a strong, connected community and is a great excuse to enjoy your new home even before the house is built.
