He's missing from 1800 census. In 1810 he was in Lincoln Co tabulated as 11101-10100. This suggests that his wife was deceased and he has a son and daughter born between 1785-1795, a son born 1795-1800 and a son and daughter born 1800-1810. In 1820 Burke Co. his census tabulation was "100101-01011" which translates to himself and his wife being born before 1775, a daughter 1775-1795, a son born 1795-1803, a daughter born 1805-1810 and a son born between 1810 and 1820. He was also in Burke Co. in 1830 and 1850. Long: Chapman, Joh b. 1855 d. after 1906.[Also was youngest of Elisha's group. John Chapman's death date is incorrect in former Chapman Books. When Sally Deal Chapman died in 1906, Obit said all children but 2 daughters were living (not verified which other than Clemetine)... and her youngest son John was living in Grand Bay, Alabama where he had been living for about 20 years. It is believed that his wife's name may have been Nellie who was said living in New Orleans about 1925. No other information. Just thought to have had one son born in Alexander County... the mother was Candas Moose. Robley Kevette Moose b. June 14, 1881 d. unknown,,, married Emma Little.. no children. 31.
