The four events are merged together into a single conference, with a unified program and lectures, and one registration for them all. Dubrovnik, a traditional meeting place for the international cooperation offers an excellent and stimulating environment for the conference of high scientific merit which will attract participants from all over Europe. The venue of the conference, a 5 stars hotel Rixos Libertas, provides excellent facilities for the smooth presentation of the conference's scientific content, as well as for the accompanying exhibition of vacuum equipment and pertinent publications. CALL FOR ORAL AND POSTER PRESENTATION http://www.jvc-evc-2012.com/call-for-papers.php Scientists and engineers working in the fields of vacuum-related research are encouraged to submit the abstract of their contributions. Abstract submission is available on-line and the deadline is 5th of March 2012. Abstracts will be evaluated by the Programme Committee and authors will be notified on the acceptance of their abstracts by 5 April 2012. Abstracts of the conference will be printed in the BOOK OF ABSTRACTS AND PROGRAMME OF JVC-14/EVC-12/AMDVG-11/CroSloVM-19. Official language of the conference and papers is English. This 'Pearl of the Adriatic' is situated in the southernmost part of Croatia. During its 450 years of independency the Republic of Dubrovnik had a very strong maritime force of more then 500 ships and was a flourishing trade centre. Although severely damaged by an earthquake in 1667, Dubrovnik managed to preserve its beautiful Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque churches, monasteries, palaces and fountains. UNESCO recognized the rich cultural heritage and entered the ancient city into its World's Heritage List. The JVC-14 / EVC-12 / AMDVG-11 / CroSloVM-19 is the biggest event for the vacuum-related research and development in Europe in 2012. The venue of the conference is Hotel Rixos Libertas, Dubrovnik. The conference starts on Monday morning and will be closed about noon on Friday. Exhibition stands are to be set up on Sunday. The submissions to the proceedings will be peer reviewed according to procedure for the regular journal papers. On-line submission via Elsevier's Editorial System (EES) at required. The first manuscript is expected to be submitted no earlier than 1 May 2012. The submission deadline of first draft is 8 June 2012.
