Voorheis Auction & Realty must receive this affidavit of registration for bidder and broker/ salesperson at least 24 hours prior to the auction. Commissions paid to the participating broker accordingly: A commission will be paid to the Broker representing the successful purchaser at settlement at a rate of four per cent of your client s opening bid and an additional two per cent of the difference between the opening bid and final accepted high bid. For example: If you and your client agree to give an opening bid of $100,000 and the property sold to your client for a high bid of $150,000, the broker would receive 4% of the $100,000 ($4,000) and 2% of $50,000 ($1,000) for a total co-op fee of $5,000.00.
