Perfectly adaptable, the fixed and height-adjustable desk versions also come in variants providing extra worktop depth to help maximise the available workspace. Construction 2 1 Worktops 1 Worktops are made from 25 mm thick particle board, density 650 kg/m³. Panels are overlaid with a decorative sheet in a monochrome or simulated wood finish. 2 sides treated with an anti-reflective coating. Materials used in the production of these panels are sourced from sustainably managed forests (PEFC). Rated M3 fire-resistant (combustible, moderately flammable) in compliance with standard NF EN 13501-1. Panels are certified E1 (control of formaldehyde emissions), emitting 6.5 mg HCNO/100 mg and comply with standard NF EN 717-2. 2 Flat edge banding, 2 mm thick made from a strip of glued ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), rounded on the upper and lower edges for greater user comfort. Edging in a matching finish to the desk worktops. Structural elements affix to the worktops using metal inserts and screws, providing for easy assembly and disassembly, guaranteeing excellent results of 140 kg per insert under extraction resistance testing. Worktops for shared desk configurations come with 2 pre-cut rectangular openings for top access housing modules.
