Tangible Personal Property 2015 Filing Extension Request Now available on website (pa.martin.fl.us). Request must be submitted through the website no later than April 1 st. Automatic 45 day extension until May 15th but MUST file a request with the Property Appraiser s Office. Attach the email confirmation to the DR-405 tax return. If you did not receive an email confirmation, then the request was not approved. Filing MUST be postmarked on or before May 15, 2015.

Depreciation Tables Provided by the Department of Revenue (DOR). The Property Appraiser s Office (PAO) analyzes data to verify the reasonableness of the DOR tables. PAO prepares a spreadsheet that has a column for the asset schedule and the age at retirement. A summary table is prepared with the asset schedule, and the average, median, minimum, and maximum age at retirement. The PAO concludes that the table is generally reasonable.
PAO estimates the value of businesses that have not filed appear to be under reporting PAO maintains the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number on each account. The first 2 digits of the 6 digit NAICS code are referred to as the sector.
