Organization Land Registration Services are delivered through an Operations group (Them) with oversight provided by Regulatory Services Branch (Us) 4

Assistant Examiners Provide professional direction and advice to staff and client groups on survey and title related issues Recommend and assist in development of bulletins, Regulations and Statutes Chair Boundaries Act Hearings and issue written decisions Make public presentation to professional groups: lawyers, planners, surveyor Develop and deliver training material to land registration staff Participate in QAR of plans for all RO s Participate on external committees of senior reps in the surveying industry Participate in Teranet or Ministry committees relating to surveying and mapping 7
Land Registration Operational Support Land Registrars replaced by Operational Specialists (OS) Fifteen province wide - assigned several offices based on volume, expertise OS group works as a unit sharing information and best practices Can handle most issues but may escalate issue to a Senior Operational Specialist (SOS) Three SOS all have statutory designation of Land Registrar 8
Complex Plans & Documents Some Registry Offices do not have the capacity or expertise to process complex plans & documents so some are sent to Remote Processing Offices. Complex plans and documents include: Subdivision Plans, Condominium Registrations, LT+ applications Client service continues to be through the LRO - this process is intended to be seamless 9
Fees Harmonization Reminder Announced December 2010 in Bulletin 2010-02 Effective November 2, 2015 title search Fee in LRO s will rise to match fees for service through Teraview Fees for some services will now rise yearly based on 50% of the inflation rate as established by the consumer price index The Good News: No cost to view Plans and Documents at an LRO Fee to copy documents and plans at an LRO unchanged Many Schedule II Fees remain unchanged 10
Electronic Block Maps Recent improvements to the Electronic Property Index Map (emap) The Print Map function can now be accessed at any zoom level in Teraview and ROSCO. 11
Imaging Documents with sketches attached The 800,000 documents with sketches that were previously only available in paper format on site at the local land registry office have now been imaged and are now available through Teraview Pre Automation and Conversion Documents An additional 9 million historical documents that were not available in the image database after the automation and conversion of the property records are now also available through Teraview and ROSCO. 12
Imaging Microfilm Rolls A long term project is well underway to digitize the document microfilm rolls across the province. This project will preserve the records, and provide improved access to historical document images, by loading them into the image database when they are requested through the exception handling process in Teraview. Abstract Indexes Available on microfilm at all 54 Land Registry Offices Exploring ways to make the Indexes available on-line 13
Next Generation Teraview (NGTV) Same functionality as before but on a modern IT platform Will support: eplans French and English languages Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) On track for 2017 14
