Howe Top House occupies a wonderful position, elevated above picturesque Maulds Meaburn, with wide ranging views over the village and adjoining countryside. Built around 10 years ago, it is a substantial contemporary house with extensive and flexible family accommodation, gardens, a stone outbuilding and parking for several cars. On the ground floor, entering through the porch, with a boot room, you encounter the lovely large entrance hall which has a cloakroom to the right and views to the other end of the property. This leads directly into the magnificent open plan dining kitchen with an oak floor, which is the heart of the house. With multiple windows this is a stylish and light family entertaining space, with great views. This has an adjacent pantry which leads into the fitted utility room. It also opens through double doors into the snug or garden room, with a wood burner, and glazed doors out to the garden. This has been designed to bring light and the views into the property. Off the entrance hall are two further reception rooms, the lounge with picture windows and feature open fireplace. A home office or study completes this level. On the first floor, up the oak staircase, we find the bedroom accommodation. There are five double bedrooms altogether, all with lovely views, with three bath or shower rooms. The master bedroom, with french doors out to a south facing balcony, has the same great views out southwards as the garden room. It extends to an impressive full suite, including an ensuite bathroom with separate double walk in shower and a dressing room. There is second ensuite bedroom with a shower room and the remaining three bedrooms are served by the house bathroom which also has a walk in shower, double ended bath and oak flooring. There is good outside space which includes enclosed lawned gardens and a vegetable plot, a decked verandah for outside entertaining and alfresco dining and a log store; also that pretty stone period outbuilding. There is ample parking for cars and the footings have been constructed for the building of a double garage, allowing for that future development if desired. Page 5 of 12
